Santa Sleigh update
14/10/2026
Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club is now only a month away from their first official Santa engagement of 2026.
Santa and the club’s new sleigh will once again be in attendance on Pride Hill for the switching on of the town’s Christmas lights on the evening of Wednesday, November 18.
And this ‘must’ for the diary of mums and dads is closely followed by a busy schedule of Santa appearances on his sleigh throughout the month of December.
These appearances include supermarket visits as well as tours of the suburbs of Shrewsbury where Santa is always eagerly awaited by the young and not-so-young.
The schedule of supermarket visits is currently being finalised and Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club is pleased to announce that it will once again feature Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrison’s and Asda.
When Santa and his sleigh are not appearing at the supermarkets, they will be touring districts of Shrewsbury that traditionally give their presence the warmest of welcomes on the coldest of evenings.
The club’s sleigh organiser is also nearing completion of the street visits and information on all Santa dates will shortly be appearing on social media and in the press.
So wherever you live watch out for opportunities of meeting up with Santa during what promises to be another joyful season.
