ROTARY CLUB INDUCTS ITS YOUNGEST MEMBER - AGED 33
At the age of 33, independent financial advisor Aidan France has become a Rotary club’s youngest member.
He has been inducted into Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club having moved to the town in 2023.
A PhD in analytical chemistry, Aidan’s topic was weighing and measuring proteins in gas to infer biological structure and function and he has been the author of nine publications.
Aidan, who lives in the Shrewsbury area, has spent six years in the financial services sector.
He has also worked in wealth management – overseeing the management of £1.3b as part of a team of three.
He told Rotarians that he is keen to contribute to the local community and meet like-minded people.
Shrewsbury Severn Rotary’s president Johnathan Callwood said Aidan’s induction emphasised what an ‘incredible organisation’ Rotary is – appealing to people of all ages.
“The club is anchored by strong relationships,” said the president who told Aidan: “I am proud and happy to induct you into our club. You have already made quite an impression.”
